GREAT FALLS, Mont. - Habitat for Humanity of Great Falls shared on social media that their job stie trailers were recently broken into, and a "significant number" of tools were stolen.
"These tools are vital to our mission of building safe, affordable housing for families in our community, and their loss directly impacts our ability to serve those in need," the organization said.
Habitat for Humanity said the theft will not deter them from continuing their work, and they are working with local authorities to investigate the theft. They also said security at the job site will be improved.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Great Falls Police Department.
Habitat for Humanity said they welcome financial and tool donations in the meantime.
"Habitat for Humanity is committed to building homes, communities, and hope. We thank you for standing with us during this difficult time."
