Regal Point Office Condominiums at 1110 Pine Ridge Road will become the new administrative headquarters of North Collier Fire Control & Rescue District. The district purchased six second-floor condominiums from the Collier Community Foundation for $3.495 million.
North Collier Fire Control & Rescue District plans to move its headquarters to Pine Ridge Road in North Naples this fall, enabling firefighters to dedicate Fire Station No. 45 to training.
County records show the district paid the Collier Community Foundation $3.495 million Aug. 4 for six second-floor condominiums at Regal Point Office Condominiums, 1110 Pine Ridge Road. The nonprofit foundation, which purchased the condos in 2015 for $1.34 million, moved to new headquarters at 2340 Vanderbilt Beach Road last month.

The district, which has 11 stations, is headquartered at Fire Station No. 45, 1885 Veterans Park Drive in North Naples, adjacent to Veterans Park off Immokalee Road. The district purchased the vacant 6.9-acre property for $450,000 in 1998 and built the station and training facility. The station serves Palm River, Willoughby Acres, Stonebridge and other surrounding communities.
“We are going to be transitioning this location into a full-on training center,” Heather Mazurkiewicz, the district’s public information officer, said of Station 45. “It’ll still be a working fire station, along with our training facilities, and the new location will be our administrative headquarters.”
“The majority of our training happens here,” she added. “The command and the chief feel that it is time for this to be a very formal training facility, so all of our training staff is on-site here.”
Firefighters participate in live-fire training at North Collier Fire Control & Rescue District’s Station 45 in North Naples. The district plans to expand the property’s role as a formal training center after moving its administrative headquarters to Pine Ridge Road.
Behind Station 45 is a five-story tower that enables firefighters to undergo live-fire training, in addition to technical rescue training. The multiaward-winning regional training center also features a burn room and accredited 480-hour minimum standards training programs through a partnership with Florida SouthWestern State College.
The administrative move is expected to occur in September or October.
