Glassdoor has released its list of 25 Highest Paying Jobs in America for 2016. Physicians, lawyers and research and development managers are the top three highest-paying job categories, according to the report. The findings are based on actual salaries of people who have reported their own to the career website over the past year.  The top ten jobs offering the highest salaries, and their median base salaries and number of job openings on Glassdoor, are as follows:
