In fact, according to a National Sleep Foundation poll, 29 percent of respondents said they’ve either fallen asleep or felt extremely fatigued at work within a one-month period. And the repercussions of an overtired workplace can cost employers big money, according to Inc.

That may be why some large companies, such as Google, Uber, and even Ben & Jerry’s, have implemented snooze rooms within the office. (Think quiet areas with cozy chairs and the absence of glowing computer screens.)

Fifteen to 20 minutes of shut-eye is all one needs to feel alert and restored, Inc. reports, and napping on-the-clock may even lead to improved health and mood.
