A Fort Myers hospitality group acquired the Grimaldi’s Pizzeria at Bell Tower in south Fort Myers and plans five additional restaurants across Lee, Collier and Sarasota counties. UNIV Hospitality of Fort Myers, led by Gary Patel and Anil Harkhani, purchased the restaurant at 13499 S. Cleveland Ave. and signed a five-unit franchise development agreement with the New York-style pizza chain. The purchase price and other financial terms were not disclosed. Specific locations for the five planned restaurants also have not been announced. The group expects to open the additional locations over the next four years. The existing Bell Tower restaurant will remain open under its new ownership.
