Florida SouthWestern State College’s School of Allied Health will host a ribbon-cutting at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 3 for three new Omnera 400T Digital Radiographic systems at its Fort Myers campus. The upgrade transitions the Radiologic Technology Program from simulation labs to fully functional X-ray rooms, giving students hands-on training in digital imaging and positioning. Funded through the State of Florida Conference Committee on Higher Education Appropriations, the project aims to better prepare graduates for clinical rotations and careers in medical imaging.
