Dr. Larry Antonucci is retiring after more than four decades in healthcare, including serving as Lee Health’s president and CEO since 2017.
Lee Health established a $250,000 scholarship endowment honoring retiring President and CEO Dr. Larry Antonucci. The Dr. Larry Antonucci Scholarship Endowment Fund will support Lee Health employees pursuing education, leadership development, professional certifications and career advancement. The Lee Health Foundation Board of Trustees provided the founding gift and is seeking additional community contributions. Antonucci joined Lee Health’s leadership team in 2007 and became president and CEO in 2017 after practicing as an obstetrician and gynecologist in Fort Myers for 24 years. Earnings from the permanent endowment will fund educational and professional development opportunities for Lee Health employees.
