ECHO, an advocate for sustainable agriculture and food security, will host a series of upcoming workshops aimed at empowering small-scale farmers and those starting in agricultural development with innovative practices. These events are designed to foster knowledge, innovation, and community building within the agricultural sector. Each of the four-day long workshops will give attendees insight into Syntropic Agroforestry, an innovative approach to regenerative agriculture. Attendees will learn principles and practices to plan an agroforest, basic design and management skills and have hands-on experiences with ECHO’s Syntropic systems. The workshops will be April 2-5 (Introduction to Tropical Agriculture Development) and April 9-12 (Syntropic Agroforestry – Tropical Agriculture Development II) at 17391 Durrance Road in North Fort Myers.
