LONDON BAY HOME SELLS LANGSTON MODEL, PLANS MORE ESTATES

London Bay Homes has sold the Langston model in Mediterra, made a new designer-furnished model immediately available, and nearly completed another model. 2021 homebuyers can also personalize a selection of five additional new planned models starting from $1.8 million, with their choice of flooring, lighting, cabinetry and countertops from the London Bay Homes Selection Studio. The developer also offers homebuyers nearly 40 available homesites in Mediterra. The coastal-inspired Langston model in the Cabreo neighborhood is still available for viewing. 4M COMMERCE CENTER IN FORT MYERS SELLS FOR $8.35 MILLION

Industrial real estate in Southwest Florida continues to be on fire, said Chase Mayhugh with Mayhugh Commercial Advisors, based in Fort Myers. Mayhugh recently brokered the transaction of one of the region’s largest industrial properties, which sold for $8.35 million. The 4M Commerce Center, 11803 Metro Parkway, in Fort Myers was sold on Dec. 31 to 11803 Metro Pkwy LLC. The property consists of three large industrial facilities with more than 120,000 square feet of industrial space on 7.36 acres fronting the heavily traveled Metro Parkway. The sellers, Kelly Peel Trust and Liddell Family Trust, brought on Chase Mayhugh, SIOR, CCIM, in mid-2019 to manage, stabilize and lease the asset to position it for future sale.
 

NEW HOTEL, COMMERCIAL PARK COMING TO NORTHEAST CAPE CORAL

A new commercial park and hotel are coming to northeast Cape Coral. Victory Park will include a 125-room Wyndham Grand hotel, commercial space and 100,000 square feet of medical and industrial space at the intersection of NE 24th Avenue and Kismet Parkway/Littleton Road, Blue Waters Development Group LLC announced. The groundbreaking is scheduled for the second quarter of this year by pre-leasing already is taking place. The hotel will be the second to open in the northern part of the city. Fairfield by Marriott is set to open in March on Old Pondell Road, near the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard North and Pine Island Road, WINK News reports.
 

LEE COMMISSIONERS APPROVE DESIGN CONTRACT FOR NEW LEETRAN STATION ON U.S. 41

Lee County commissioners voted Tuesday to approve a design and engineering contract for a new LeeTran park-and-ride and transfer station planned for the existing parking lot at the Lee County Elections Office, 13180 S. Cleveland Ave. The project will provide seven covered bus berths, ADA accessible restrooms, custodial and electrical facilities, a technology room, as well as loading and unloading ramps with ADA accessibility that will provide a higher level of service, security and comfort for LeeTran passengers and employees. The $537,372 design contract was awarded to Cardno Inc. A matching grant of up to $160,000 from the Florida Department of Transportation will help pay for the design. The design effort is expected to take about six months, the county reports.
 

FORT MYERS PROPERTY SELLS FOR $2.69 MILLION

LSI Companies Inc. brokered an approximately 27.13-acre commercial property for $2.69 million. The site was purchased by Action 4 Investments LLC from Cornerstone 1 Trust. The property is located at the intersection of SR 82 and Buckingham Road, Fort Myers. The buyer was represented by Hunter Ward, CCIM of LSI Companies Inc.
 

FORT MYERS MEDICAL CENTER SELLS FOR $1.275 MILLION

Grace Management Holdings LLC recently purchased the professional medical center at 6150 Diamond Centre Court in Fort Myers from 5M Holdings for $1.275 million. Bob O’Connor, associate of LandQwest Commercial, represented the buyer, Grace Management Holdings LLC, in this transaction. Adam Palmer, CCIM, SIOR, managing principal of LandQwest Commercial, represented the seller, 5M Holdings.
 

NAPLES PROPERTY PURCHASED FOR $1.2 MILLION

1360 Rail Head LLC purchased 4,800 square feet of commercial space for $1.2 million, from H3 Inc., located at 1360 Rail Head Blvd. in Naples. Christine McManus, CCIM, SIOR of Investment Properties Corp. represented the buyer and Brock Rasmussen of Lee & Associates represented the seller.
 

NAPLES COMMERCIAL SPACE SELLS FOR $615,000

Stonewall of Naples LLC purchased 3,000 square feet total of commercial space for $615,000, located at 4776 Radio Road, Suite 701 & 702, Naples, from Donald E. Krog of Donald E. Krog Revocable Trust. Christine McManus, CCIM, SIOR of Investment Properties Corp. represented the buyer and Charlie Berry of John R. Wood represented the seller.
 

SEAGATE DEVELOPMENT GROUP COMPLETES CONDITIONED AIR FACILITY

Seagate Development Group has completed Conditioned Air’s new operations center. This comes after six weeks of site clearing and utilities preparation as well as five months of construction. Located at 14550 Global Pkwy. in Fort Myers, the 41,745-square-foot facility is supporting the company’s growth throughout Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties. This is made possible in part by 30,945 square feet of warehouse space as well as 10,800 square feet of office space, including a 9,800-square-foot mezzanine for additional storage and future expansion. The operations center features an 18-bay loading dock, multipurpose administrative area, 84-person training room and state-of-the-art training lab. Additionally, there are 10 executive offices, supervisory spaces, a conference room and estimating area.
 

GMA ARCHITECTS & PLANNERS COMPLETES NEW BUILDING DESIGN FOR ENTERPRISE IN CAPE CORAL

GMA Architects & Planners has completed the building design for a new Enterprise located on the rapidly developing Pine Island Road corridor in Cape Coral. The project includes a new 7,250-square-foot building to accommodate Enterprise’s car sales, daily car rental and truck rental services as well as a detached 1,200-square-foot quick-turn-around fueling and wash and detail bay. The prominent site provides maximum exposure and accessibility for the facility and has parking available for 286 vehicles.
 

THE BOWL LAUNCHES THIRD LOCATION AT UNIVERSITY VILLAGE IN ESTERO

The third location of The Bowl opened Monday in University Village shops near Florida Gulf Coast University in Estero. This is the first location of The Bowl that has a kava bar with kava and kratom elixirs on tap in addition to a menu featuring organic acai and pitaya bowls, smoothies and cold brew coffee, kombucha and matcha on tap. “I’m also excited to purchase and use a golf cart for dorm deliveries on the FGCU campus,” says Kylee Brinkman, an FGCU graduate who launched her first location of The Bowl five years ago at 1427 Pine Ridge Road in North Naples and her second in 2017 at 1200 Central Ave. in Naples. NEW YOGA STUDIO COMING TO FORT MYERS

Vibe Yoga: Yoga for EveryBODY is opening in Fort Myers, beginning construction on its space this week in its studio located at 8971 Daniels Center Dr., Suite 302, which is planned to open March 15. Vibe Yoga will offer Hatha Yoga with various teaching styles and classes including restorative, gentle, chair, all levels, power, kids, teens, advanced, sports, trauma-informed, and personal one-on-one sessions. In addition to yoga movement classes (asanas), Vibe Yoga will also offer iRest Yoga Nidra, yoga book club, workshops, and off-site stand-up paddleboarding yoga at Fort Myers Beach. Barron Collier Cos. has promoted Jeff Sonalia to chief financial officer and hired Nick Casalanguida as senior vice president of development. Sonalia joined Barron Collier Cos. in 2006 and most recently served as director of finance. Prior to joining Barron Collier Cos., Sonalia spent more than eight years in public accounting. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Michigan State University and is a graduate of Leadership Collier. Sonalia holds CPA (Certified Public Accountant), title agent and general lines insurance licenses. Casalanguida most recently served as Collier County’s deputy county manager and has more than 30 years of land development experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Hodges University. In addition, he is a Certified Public Manager through Florida State University’s Center for Public Management.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice Inc. received a $30,000 grant from The Pulte Family Charitable Foundation to support safe housing for migrant families in Hendry and Glades Counties. This grant will allow Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice (CCDOV) to continue a successful project of providing critical repairs for farmworkers whose homes were damaged by Hurricane Irma in 2017. The Assuring Safe Housing project will provide mobile home repairs for low-income migrant farmworkers in Hendry and Glades counties.
